Statement from the organisers of Sunday's concert in Berlin
8th October, 2009Notice from the organisation team of the performance of John Lees' Barclay James Harvest of 4th of October 2009 at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.
The organisers of the show of John Lees' Barclay James Harvest would like to express their regrets that the show could not take place as planned there because of local weather conditions. Unfortunately, the band was forced to interrupt their performance due to technical problems on stage which were caused by intensive showers connected with unfavourable wind conditions. After a changeover on stage and securing the instruments, the band were able to continue with their performance but were no longer allowed to complete the whole show as safety regulations and local conditions did not permit any delays of the entire event at the Brandenburg Gate. The organisers deeply regret this and ask all the fans of the band for indulgence for this situation.

Latest Information on Shrewsbury Refunds
15th September, 2009Latest update from Moray Council:
Officers from Moray Council Trading Standards met with Brian Davies of New Dawn Events week ending 11 September 2009. The reason given by him for the cancellation of the Memories of Woodstock and Crathes Castle events was a lack of ticket sales.
Mr Davies has stated that the delay in refunds to consumers who paid using the Paypal facility has been due to a technical issue in funding the companies Paypal account. He has however advised that steps have been taken which should allow refunds to commence by 30 September 2009. In addition Mr Davies has stated that he is processing approximately 15 credit card payment refunds per day and he intends to complete the process by 30 September 2009.
Moray Council Trading Standards will continue to monitor the situation however, despite a desire to help, we are not in a position to accept any further direct contact from consumers through out the UK.
Should you have written to Mr Davies and failed to receive a reply, our advice is to contact Trading Standards in your home area and seek help with trying to obtain a refund through your credit card provider if payment was made by this method, or with lodging a Small Claim in the appropriate court system. This advice is given not due to a lack of willingness to help on the part of Moray Council Trading Standards Department, but due to the limitations placed on our role as a result of Civil Legislation.
